The Sony FX6 is equipped with an ultra-sensitive, full frame sensor so that you can shoot in nearly any environment your scene calls for. Here are some of the other standout features of this grab-and-shoot system:

  • Extended ISO sensitivities up to 409,600 shoot in near total darkness.
  • Cinematic color science for natural skin tones, vivid environments, and tons of post-production latitude.
  • Fast Hybrid wide-area AF system with intelligent tracking and on-sensor phase detection. Even when shooting at shallow depths of field, the FX6 delivers precise focusing. Real-time Eye AF and Face Detection provides stable results for interviews and events. Choose your AF sensitivity speed and your target focus area with ease.
  • When shooting in QFHD, capture up to 120 FPS in 4K. Slow and Quick mode offers beautiful 5x Super Slow Motion options (with 24 FPS output).
  • Dual CFexpress slots for high-speed data processing that can also accommodate UHS-II SD cards. Special Note: Compatible with CFX Type A cards only. This camera is not compatible with CFX Type B or XQD cards.

This is a lightweight, modular, and nimble system. It is specifically designed for both strength and good ventilation so that you can comfortably shoot at high frame rates without overheating. Shooting in raw with a 10% crop over SDI to compatible external recorders (such as the Shogun 7 HDR Pro Recording Monitor) is available for the most demanding post-production workflows. Unlike the FX9, the FX6 doesn't require an XDCA extension unit to output raw.

With so many shooting modes, the Sony FX6 Full Frame Cinema camera is ready for just about any project.
